One of the longest-running acts in modern music, it seems like Heart & Paws have been mewling out their perfect harmonies for forever. But their meeting actually happened entirely by chance.
As a young guitarist, Paws was on the road opening for comedian Lenny Birman. In an otherwise disinterested crowd he noticed one enthusiastic cat singing along, and invited her on stage to perform alongside him. Their chemistry was immediate, but it was only after discovering their shared love of Meow Mix® Tasty Layers™ Chicken and Tuna Cat Food Recipe Stuffed With Real Chicken that they knew destiny brought them together. The duo began writing songs together and moved to Nashville – only to find that the music establishment shunned them.
So Heart & Paws took to the road, bringing their soulful ballads right to the people. In honky-tonks from Catalina to Kennebunkpurrt, they converted new fans every night. By the time they returned to Nashville, the music establishment just couldn’t ignore them any longer. Since then, their legend grows with each chart-topping release.
